V&A Bar • Bistro is a French wine bar on the Prinsengracht in the Jordaan, with a wine list built around characterful wines, small producers and long evenings at the table.
Our curated wine list features 60+ wines, with a strong focus on France. From Champagne, Burgundy and Loire to Rhône and Bordeaux. A selection of classic wine regions, smaller producers and distinctive wines with their own signature.
Our wine list moves from classic to more adventurous: from recognisable French styles to more expressive and lesser-known producers.
The Wine List
Balance, elegance and drinkability form the foundation of our wine list.
While many of our wines are produced within the natural wine philosophy, the selection at V&A is not about labels or trends. We mainly serve wines that fit the atmosphere of the evening, the dishes on the table and the kind of wines guests happily order a second glass of.
Alongside France, the list also includes a small selection of wines from countries such as Italy and Spain, carefully chosen to complement the French foundation of V&A.
